JOHN MELIUSJohn grew up on a family farm near Chelsea, South Dakota where they raised wheat, soybeans, corn and cattle. He graduated from South Dakota State University with degrees in Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Business, along with a minor in Agricultural Marketing. Through his background on the farm, as well as his education, John has become deeply knowledgeable in farm production paralleled with the knowledge of agricultural marketing and finance. John enjoys aligning marketing strategies with each individual farmer’s need in order to increase profit.
John currently lives in Brookings, SD and plans to be married in the summer of 2007. He enjoys spending his time helping his family on the farm when possible. He is active in his local church, participates in athletic sports in the community and enjoys many other outdoor activities.
